I Have verision 1.13 Release 6 working ok, however I am unsure what file to use on windows with thee release. I find no .exe file in the zip file. Shoudl I be using the x386 file?

I presume that you use the files that i haved post here so the server its running
From the log file that you suply to me seems that the newcs server its ok and it had read and decode the card.

Now configure you DreamBox the file newcamd.conf (/var/tuxbox/config/newcamd)

the line that you have to edit is

CWS = 192.168.0.1 10000 username1 userpas1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv

Where :
192.168.0.1 ----- its the ip of your server
10000 ----- its the server port
username1 userpas1 --- its the user name and password
01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 --- DES key
lan (lan or spider)
cardserv ------------ its the name of the server

all of the above must much the values on the newcs.xml

then restart the newcamd and it will be ok

I tryed newcs and card is not detected, it works on DreamBox but not in winxp smartmouse reader.
here is the log. somebody can help? Smartmouse (spr-532) connected to usb and com1.

What card you use??
what verison of the newcs???

The more stable its 1.16

And something strange.....Take out the card and reinsert it 2-3 times.
Some readers(mine is one) dont read the card at once.
Before you do that stop the server. Use the app newcsgui in the 1 page of the forum to easy control the server and chek the log file for results.


If no use post more info and configuration files to chek

My card is canal digital nordic (orginal)
Reader spr-532 in cusb and com1
Newcs version from the first page of this topic so is it 1.6. about gui says 0.0.1.2
Do I have to start also newcs or just newcsgui and do I have to do it in cmd?

Problem was that I had phoenix what I changed to pc/sc
Now problems with client connect, but I think I can fix that. THANK'S
