THERE IS NEW OPPORTUNITY TO SWITCH ON RECORD ONE CHANNEL,

Image features and limitations:

- cramfs+squashfs image
- CVS dated May 14 2004
- multi-EPG mode
- Neutrino Local DreamBox Recorder /HDD/NFS
recording device: direct (file)
- hdparm can't set -M (acoustic)
- only ext3 filesystem supported (you can add tools/libs to /var/[bin,lib])
- fdisk in busybox (easy to use, you can make more than 1 partition)
- no pppd, iptables, adsl stuff etc
- no CI support
- no ***s/rsa/rom-files

+ TimeShift tests
+ record/view opportunity (only Mgcamd for crypted channels)
switching channels from channels list not currently working
use simple UP/DOWN buttom to switch channels under
record/view-mode

+ add Newcamd V5.00
- Camd wanon plugin for reseting all newcamd servers connection

How to flash from Neutrino.DREAM
--------------------------------
set to FTA-channel
put image to /tmp
neutrino main menu->service->software update
expert-functions->write one partition->DreamBox cramfs
select image
Attention! PRESS "UP" BUTTOM TO FLASH ERASE after box restarted!
Before replacement of the image keep settings separately necessary to you.


Neutrino Local DreamBox Recording
--------------------------------

1. /NFS-mounted volume

mount nfs volume (rw)
->Main Menu->Settings->Network->Mount NFS/CIFS volume
Main Menu->Settings->Network->Misc settings
change recording device to direct (file)
->Main Menu->Settings->Recording Settings
set mounted volume to recording directory
->Main Menu->Settings->Recording Settings->recording directory

press activate change->back->save settings now

start record
->Features->Recording

2. /HDD-directory

change recording device to direct (file)
->Main Menu->Settings->Recording Settings
set hdd-dir to recording directory
->Main Menu->Settings->Recording Settings->recording directory

press activate change->back->save settings now

start record
->Features->Recording


How to grabing video/audio (other ways)

edit file /var/tuxbox/start_neutrino
uncomment:
/bin/tsserver -sport 4001 -o /hdd/movies &
/bin/sserver -sport 4002 -ggrab -o /hdd/movies &
/bin/sserver -sport 4003 -mcrec -r &
save file
reboot DreamBox
make directory /hdd/movies
go to main menu->settings->recording
recording device - server
recording server IP - 127.0.0.1
recording server port - 4001
(4001 - tsserver(only one apid), 4002 -sserver(all apid), 4003 - mcrec)
...
press activate change->back->save settings now
done
press blue buttom Features menu
choice Recording start


How to grabing audio MCE-channels/MUSICCHOICE

edit file /var/tuxbox/start_neutrino
uncomment:
/bin/tsserver -sport 4001 -o /hdd/movies &

save file
reboot DreamBox
make directory /hdd/mcrec
select musicchoice channel
(like on Thor 2/3 & Intelsat 707 at 1.0?W 12456 V tp 39 SR 28000 FEC 3/4
Hit List/Classic Rock/Hard Rock/Old Gold...)
edit file /var/etc/mcrec.progs
HARD ROCK=heavy
there is "HARD ROCK" - channel name, "heavy" - part of spicial link
you can edit /var/etc/mcrec.rc too
next step
go to main menu->settings->recording
recording device - server
recording server IP - 127.0.0.1
recording server port - 4003
(4001 - tsserver(only one apid), 4002 -sserver(all apid), 4003 - mcrec)
...
press activate change->back->save settings now
done
press blue buttom Features menu
choice Recording start

btw you must to enter default gateway ip and namserver ip
time to time musicchoice epg service gone to down
