Here is the changelog for the 6.0.4 version releaste BA.

The kit is now down to it already ;-)

* It is now again a releaste kit and the kit does not expire after a short time schobn, but as usual it is now all previous versions of BA no longer supported.

* This version is compatible ONLY with the more original Loader # 84 of DMM (in 7025 it can therefore only with the ipk for cheating Loder 84, the use here append)

* This version of BA was cleared out DRASTICALLY - the kit is MUCH smaller and leaner and thus should still all the current things still work.

* What I have first thrown out, because there is already some time disabelt and no one has asked the shell script is also in other languages, run it, plug the BA and BA Webif of course continue to the full language support.

* The Multiboot Download Center is finally kicked out after serving his entire OoZooN feed as a web page makes no sense - RIP.

* Bzip2 was also thrown out because the MB_ *. tar files uncompressed so now be made, so it is not necessary in the ipk kit to lug around, who needs it anyway bzip2 has to feed the software of most images.

* There is now a Autoswap feature - once you have created on / media / ba BA with a swapfile (minimum size is now 128MB), this in ALL the boot images (including Flash) automatically without beswapped fstab or the like.

Devices * File system check of the BA is now when you are booted from Flash made when you type in telnet bainit 90, with all numbers> 89, the cause in order to avoid further confusion.

* DO NOT use it OoZooN (or another image where the loop device driver in the kernel are fixed) image in flash or instralliert not on a 7025 then it MUST be the kernel-module-loop re-install ipk, otherwise BA NOT work!

* It is now a binary bainit and NO more shell script and it will stay that way!

Barry Allen 6.2 Released kit & Support Thread
Hier ist das Changelog für die Version 6.2.7 von Barry Allen.

* Das ist wieder eine releaste Version in der alle bekannten Bugs aus den früheren Versionen gefixed sein sollten, womit alle früheren Versionen nicht mehr supported sind.

* die Probleme mit manchen Sprachversionen sollten jetzt wieder gefixed sein

* das Abbrechen des Backups ist jetzt wieder gefixed

* das patchen der fstab für Softwareupdates sollte jetzt stabiler funktionieren

* man kann jetzt erstmals nur zum Testen die Auflösung des Bootmenus des Bootmanagers in den BA Einstellungen umstellen

* Diese Version läuft NUR mit dem original Loader #84 von DMM (bei der 7025 kann man es daher NUR mehr mit Loader 83 und dem Schummel ipk für Loder 84 benutzen das auch hier anhängt). Ausnahme ist die dm7020HD, da MUSS jetzt bereits Loader #86 auf der Box sein

* Beim BA 6.2 wird der loop device Treiber NICHT mehr nachladen, weil der BA 6.2 kit ist für Images >= den 3.2.2 release Images gedacht wo der loop device Treiber schon fix im Kernel ist. Wenn man KEIN aktuelles Image mit Loop device Treiber im Kernel im Flash hat wird der BA 6.2 kit die Installation daher verweigern !

* der /MB_Images link deutet ab jetzt auf /media/hdd/backup oder /media/ba/backup

* das BA WebIF geht jetzt NUR mehr mit aktuellem ImageWebIF dafür ist es aber dort bei den Extras zu finden. Direkter Aufruf mit http://ip.deiner.dream.box/barryallen geht natürlich weiterhin.

* der Device Label des BA devices ist jetzt ba und nicht mehr BA - dies wird beim Updaten auf 6.2 automatisch angepasst.

* für die Leute denen im Layout 3 die /media/ba/ba/1..8 mounts verloren gegangen sind aus irgendwelchen Gründen (chroot,...) habe ich jetzt noch ein bainit 900 reingemacht das nur alle Imagepartitionen remountet

* der Bootmanager hat jetzt wenn man WW mit FAT für den Imagekernel verwendet (egal ob Layout 2 oder 3) neben enable und disable noch einen 3. Zustand: wobble

Das funktioniert so das man wenn man WW mit FAT verwendet den bootmanager aufgedreht hat und TROTZDEM der Imagekernel verwendet wird statt dem Flashkernel.

Falls man dann im Bootmanager ein anderes Image auswählt als das zuletzt gebootete (dessen Kernel im FAT liegt) dann wird noch schnell das FAT mit dem neuen Kernel und Bootlogos befüllt, ABER die Box sofort rebootet und das neue Image gleich einmal ohne Bootmanager gebootet mit seinem eigenen Kernel aus dem FAT. Beim nächsten Boot ist der Bootmanger aber wieder an und so fort.

Daher der Name wobble :-)

Barry Allen Kit 6.2 Released & Support Thread
Here is the changelog for version 6.2.8 of Barry Allen.

* This is a releaste version in which all known bugs from previous versions should be now fixed,
so all previous versions are no longer supported!

* Also support the Wally West now seems to be stable and is Released.

An exception is the DM7020HD because now MUST be already Loader # 86 on the Box

* The BA 6.2 is the loop device driver will NOT recharge,
because of BA's Kit 6.2 for Images> = 3.2.2 release of the images meant where the loop device driver has already been fixed in the kernel.
If you have NO current image with loop device driver in the kernel in the flash of BA 6.2 is therefore refuse to install kit!

in addition to enable and disable even a 3rd Condition: wobble

It works like the one when WW with the FAT boot manager used has turned up
and STILL the kernel image is used instead of the flash kernel.

If you then boot manager for a new image selects as the last booted (its kernel in the FAT is)
then is filled or quickly the FAT with the new kernel and boot logos,
BUT reboot the box immediately and the new image
the same once booted without a boot manager with his own kernel from the FAT.
The next time you boot the boot manager is back on and so forth.

Hence the name wobble

* dort kann man jetzt auch zwischen mvi bootlogos und Bildern (bmp und jpg aber nur im Format 600x576 mit 24 Bit Farben sind jetzt unterstützt) als Hintergrund für den Bootmanager umschalten.

* der Bootmanager kann jetzt auch wieder die DreamBox in den Flashmodus zwingen indem /boot gelöscht wird - einfach TEXT Taste auf der Fernbedienung drücken.

* der /MB_Images link wird NICHT mehr verwendet, sondern es wird einfach /media/hdd/backup benutzt und NUR falls es dieses nicht gibt auch /media/ba/backup benutzt.
